"As an educator for 17 years, the biggest accomplishment is when the light bulb goes on for a learner and he or she is capable of understanding a concept or has learned a new strategy to regulate his or her behavior. Every learner is unique and as educators, our job is to identify the approach that is beneficial for that learner to excel to his or her potential.
My educational background includes a B.S. in Human Services from the University of Bridgeport, M.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport, Sixth Year in Reading from Sacred Heart University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. I have taught regular education and special education from elementary through high school. In addition, I am certified in special education, elementary education, and remedial reading.”
